TravelBird was founded in Amsterdam in April 2010. It all began in an attic, with founders Dennis Klompalberts and Symen Jansma. At this time, they were just offering one fantastic new travel deal every day. For the past four years TravelBird has been expanding to multiple countries across Europe, and our websites now feature the most competitively priced holidays. In April 2014 the famous Samwer brothers from Germany came on board as TravelBird’s first investors. TravelBird owes its success to a refreshingly simple idea: make it easy to book spectacular holidays and experiences by offering inspiring travel deals each and every day. Today TravelBird operates out of an inspiring office on the Keizersgracht in the heart of Amsterdam, where over 400 enthusiastic and international employees work to find the best holiday destinations and create great deals for our travellers.
