We are Town & Country Petfoods, owners of the popular HiLife brand of dog and cat foods, a family-run business based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Sourcing Quality We source our pet food ingredients from suppliers that meet our values of innovation and quality, putting us at the forefront of a number of key market developments over the years, including the first super premium cat food range and the launch of pouches. Our philosophy is to ‘search the world for the finest pet foods’. Our fish products come from Thailand because that’s where some of the best fish in the world are caught. Much of our rawhide comes from South America, where some of the largest cattle herds are to be found. We also manufacture more and more products here in the UK because that’s where specific, specialised production techniques are available. Caring We have a policy of sustainability and accountability. We are members of the Earth Island Institute and all our tuna is dolphin-friendly. For more than 10 years we have supported Pets As Therapy, a fantastic charity with over 5,000 volunteers whose registered PAT dogs provide animal assisted therapy, bringing comfort, joy and friendship to 1000s of people every week. We are sponsors of the annual HiLife Dog of the Year Award that recognizes the amazing work these dogs and their owners do, with the Award presented at a special ceremony at Crufts.
