The Baldwins name has been associated with the Crane Industry since 1957 when it operated as a private partnership in crane hire and industrial removals. Today, the company led by Executive Chairman Richard Baldwin is a major lifting force in the UK, with cranes ranging from 7 to 1000 Tonne. The company is split into four groups with Heavy Cranes, Small Cranes, a Contract Lifting Division and a Mechanical and Electrical Division. Baldwins is geographically placed to carry out major lifting tasks throughout the UK. There is also a vast amount of experience within the Operational, Sales and Safety Divisions ensuring the highest standard of service to the customer. With an expanding Sales force situated from within the UK there is always someone at hand to answer any customer query, carry out site visits and ensure lifts can be properly planned to BS7121 Standard. Over the past years Baldwins has carried out many major lifts which cover the full range of lifting operations. Baldwins is currently working with major UK contractors on many high profile contracts. Baldwins has vast lifting experience within the organisation from the operators through to the Managing Director. This ensures lifting operations are properly planned and carried out with safety being the utmost priority.
